Top job that man - well done! Not hugely dissimilar from mine, but you seemed to crack the ECU setup quicker than me. I'd keep an eye on that slight movement of the supercharger mount though - it really should be rock solid when you blip the throttle if you are to avoid any future vibration fractures of the bracketry....

Have fun (y)

Supercharger is secured properly now. There was a lot of alignment issues etc at first so it was fixed only from 2 points :D

Episode part 4 :)

Still some things to do:
Better flowing dump (arrived, waiting for install)
Adjustable fuel pressure regulator
Walbro fuel pump

I'm thinking of using evap system line as fuel return line and make a new one with hose for evap system. There's no metal fuel line available in here, only hoses and I don't want to take any risks. Or I will find new fuel line from scrapyard but that's not easy to get in winter :D

The evap line is metal in the engine compartment and then becomes plastic under the passenger seat. Motonet sell copper pipe for brake lines and I suppose they will have the tools there to shape the copper ends.

Yes I know, similar as fuel line. I know that also but the diameter is too small. Normal copper pipe is available but bending might be difficult. I may have to disable the evap system anyway if I upgrade to Punto mk1 75 intake manifold and fuel rail.

Part 5 :)

Tried Tial Q 50mm dump but it didn't work as planned.
Added fuel return line and ditched evap system.
Installed adjustable fuel pressure regulator.
Changed Walbro 255lph copy fuel pump.

I might fit the supercharger and leave the rest of my car as it is. Great sound!

:D

(I had not realised you were adding english subtitles to your videos)

Finally found a way to get correct air/fuel ratio on boost. It worked without first lambda but it felt a bit sluggish and check engine light was on. Also got fuel trim error code time to time. Now it works great and no error codes. There's now original Walbro 255lph installed :)

Made new 2,5" cat back exhaust, much more power on high revs :)

But the exhaust sound was way too loud. So I installed another silencer and now it sounds great :D

Thanks for the update! (and making me look bad)

I'm waiting for the temperatures to increase and the weather to be nice before I start working on my car, and here you are working outside in the freezing cold!

Odd question as I’m not 100% but, do you need/should you put a dump valve on a supercharger, they will produce a specific amount of boost for each revolution of the engine and so the air taken by the cylinders will always match that delivered by the supercharger, so my understanding is, that it should never be able to overboost.

You're right, the boost should be stable. But still I needed one, car would stall when idling (when throttle valve is closed). So dump must be open when idling and that made it very challenging to find a dumb that works. I tried 3 different dumps, current one is best so far but not optimal.
