Just wondering if a blanked egr on a punto jtd 80hp should throw a code..
p0404 I think it was if cleared it returns I know alfa 16v will throw a code but not sure on punto, Thankyou if you can help.

My Stilo didn't throw a code.

my guess would be I'm best of blanking at the exhaust side..
I guess the egr is still gonna be receiving all the rubbish and has jammed open, Not to say it can get in to cause mishief but I'm perhaps been pedantic about clearing all codes..No eml so thats summat I know these dont do that. :idea:
