Hi not long after I parked up today I notices a wet patch under the car. I had a look and there was water dripping from a joint which goes around the exhaust. It was not to far from the back of the car on the passenger side? I went out again a short while later and it was still dripping but slower. I've checked my water levels and that's fine so I'm gonna keep an eye out to see if there's any more water leaks over the next few days, I'm just wondering if its something I need to worry about?

If its from the exhaust and you had done just a short trip then I wouldn't worry. Condensation in the exhaust is normal, some models even have a drain he on the rear of the back box to let it out.

If however you had been on a longish trip, then the condensation should have all evaporated by then.

Have you had a sniff of the fluid to see if it smells like petrol? As it could be a leak above dripping on to the exhaust maybe?

No I couldn't smell anything but I will do so next time :) it was only a short journey too so it's most likely that it does drip from the end on short journeys usually at least it's nothing to worry about thanks :))

oil contains water vapour - this is why short running engines need just as frequenty oil changes as the water content isn't a good lubricator

A short run as said is because the air trapped in engine parts is moist (full of water basically)

It has to warm up dry out and to be running on ""good air""

Wouldnt worry
But do keep checking fluid levels weekly!
