Hi guys just wondered if you's could help me, recently after using my wipers and turning them off there stationary position is considerably higher that what they originally were! Can anyone help me and explain how to fix this?

I also have a wiper problem my n/s wiper bangs on the scuttle tried taking it off and repositioning it but no luck!

Check out my guide "worn wiper bush", that might be the issue.

Repositioning it on the spindle will not help if that's the problem.

Alot of people forget to tell the wipers to complete 2 cycles before refitting the arms,
As when you tug and pull - they move slightly out and before you know it - you have the above

However
The wipers may need ""park"" resetting, and is the bushs or joints are worn (as stated above)
The wiper linkages may be at park at the motor, but the sloppy bushs means its not at park at the wipers

Still haven't sorted this problem out, the stationary position changed after I started the car up after we'd had a lot of snow overnight, the day before it had been raining and the wipers were on intermittent and when I turned her off the wipers were not in motion so obviously when I started the car up the following morning the wipers couldn't shift the large amount of snow on the windscreen. Is it possible I need a new wiper motor?
