I have a Fiat PUNTO ACTIVE SPORT 16V (2005 Reg) 1242 Petrol Manual with a P0105 error
A couple of weeks ago I had the Fuel Injection error light displayed, I cleared the fault by disconnecting the battery to make sure that it kept happening and was not a one off. This has now happened 3 times so I bought a cheap error code reader – P0105 error reported.
The car started with no problems. When driving on normal roads it's generally OK, the problem arises when I am driving on faster dual carriageways or motorways, when changing through the gears quickly the rev counter is excessive and there is a lack of power temporarily. The air filter is clean.
I had the map sensor replaced and the problem appeared a little better and then the clutch seized and ruined the gearbox.
I have now had a new gearbox, whole clutch and flywheel replaced. Picked the car up yesterday took it out for a run today and the same error has been reported.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
