Hi all,
I just purchased an aftrermarket CD player (from halfords....), its called the sony cdx-gt540ui. According to the halfords database it should plug straight in, all you need is a fascia plate, which I brought also.
I then installed it and this is where the problems start. Whilst it does get SOME power (it can take and eject CD's) it can't do anything else. No display or sound or anything.
Naturally I took it back to halfords, and then they plugged it into there test system, and it worked fine?!
I checked again and it doesn't need any wiring adapters or anything, it SHOULD just plug in and play.
So, has anyone had any similar problems or know what I can do to get it to work?
