Hey guys,
Bought my 2002 Fiat Punto a couple of weeks back as my first car, and it had both keys and fobs with it but only one of the fobs worked. I swapped the batteries over and worked out the batteries were dead in the non-working fob. So today I finally got some replacement batteries and shoved them in, but the fob still isn't working. Does it need reprogramming, and if so, can I do this myself somehow?
Also, I got two small black keys marked "Meta System", for which I haven't worked out a purpose yet, any ideas as to what these are for? Something to do with the alarm is all that I can think of, but what?
And another small question, if I press the button on the fob three times, the car beeps once. What does this mean? Exactly? Sorry if this is a silly question, but I've never owned a car before (and nor have my parents either), so this is quite a steep learning curve for me.
