Technical rocker cover oil leak

Would you say that this leak looks like it is coming from the cam seal or somewhere else? I think its coming from the one on the side of the ignition coil as there is no oil on the timing belt side. Really need some help as i have no idea what it could be, its my first car and already had so much go wrong with it:mad:(n) any help is really appreciated, thanks :)

on thermostat side it can only be camshaft oil seal or coil pack rubber o ring seal, all easy to do

what else is wrong with it, as this oil leak is nothing to rly worry about

Thanks for the help! And nothing really major any more, i just need a new clutch and brakes but im getting them sorted, been advised i have a few months left with my clutch and the brakes were just an advisory on the last mot. Since ive had the car (i only got it in November) ive had to have a new thermostat, new waterpump, new core plug and then just a general service, new gaskets, filters, timing belt etc

Not got a clue to be honest, i just got told that when i had my core plug changed, they said i only had a few mm left but im no mechanic so i just had to accept it.

pardon my stupidly - if they had the gearbox out todo a core plug
Why and saw clutch was worn out - why didnt they say
We are here - its 10min more work and £X more for the clutch - do you want it doing

I'd of said yes

Regarding Cam cover seal - Yes its leaking
Regarding Coil pack seal - Id say yes thats weaping too - hard to tell when the cam seal is right above it possibly leaking

Ziggy

I would have said yes aswell but i wasnt there when it was being done as my brother sorted it out for me as he could get it done at mates rates and then after i got the car back from the garage he just told me that im going to need a new clutch soon. so would you say that im going to have to replace the oring and the oil seal?

thanks, i know theyre not expensive but id just rather get everything i need and the same time and do it all together so that i dont have to take it apart do one of them and then have to take it apart the next week to do the other.
is the camshaft oil seal the same as the coil pack o ring? i dont think it will be the gasket thats leaking as i had a new one at the start of december.

Even new they leak. I put a clingfilm thin skin of blue Hylomar on the face on the head and four pea sized dabs of RTV at the bottom corner of the cam humps at each end.
