Well it seems loads of us get this problem :bang:

After my thread yesterday Plug Leads \ Coil Packs

It seems this didnt resolve my problem (n) as the the last post says :-

The car starts ok
Ticks over fine
No back firing
No smoke
On warming up, car intermittantly looses power
Stutters \ Judders

The above hasnt sorted it as I hoped it would.

Anyway been doing a bit of reading over the whole forum for other causes perhaps the more mechanicaly minded can elaborate maybe upload a pic or two showing whering to look etc to help us less mechanical minded to resolve this annoying problem (y)

Things it can be if not Plugs \ Plug Leads \ Coil Packs (CP)

Even I managed to change all those (y)

When fitting leads to Coil Packs the order from the front is 2 \ 3 in first CP 1 \ 4 second CP ;)

Other suggestions

1) Lamba Sensor - Where is this and how do we check?

2) Fuel Filter - Drawing air - Where is this and how do we check?

3) Ignition Coils - Where are these and how do we check?

4) Dodgy MAP sensor - Where is this and how do we check?

5) Dirty Throttle Body - Where is this and how do we check?

6) Clutch Release Bearing - Well we know where it is, is there any way to test it?

Feel FREE to add to the list with other suggestions I havent put Head Gasket on.

Any replies and pictures uploaded Im sure will be gratefully received by all Punto drivers with this promblem - Present or Future (y)

Perhaps we need this thread in FAQ's or as a Sticky ? Dave (y)

Got to the end, I must of just read the last page when I answered before.

But a very interesting thread and a lot of good info it

Couldnt believe how important it was to change the air filter regular as well

Was just driving with window down and could here an intermitent click click from the engine does that point towards anything with the stutter an lack of power problem?
