is there a special order one should plug into the other

think mine were 1,4 & 2,3

my old no1 was held together by 1 wire when I pulled the plug lead off the plug

No wonder it had developed a stutter....

Fiat want ed £67.88 per coilpack +VAT

Ebay think Igot a new pair for about £24.00 +PP

Hope that helps someone - Hit thanks if it does ;)

Re: Plug leads \ Coilpacks \ Stutter - Random Loss of Power

Cheers Richie I'll take a look hopefully my new ones will be here tomorrow (y)

New ones arrived I cant see any numbers on housing on old when off or the new before they went on.

Could the plug leads being plugged in, in the wrong order be the cause of the cars stutter \ loss of power sometimes

Still getting the problem, any other ideas guys :chin:

This seems such a common problem on Punto's

Tick over and everything is fine, problem develops when car has warmed up :bang:

Re: Plug leads \ Coilpacks \ Stutter - Random Loss of Power

i'm having problems with my punto, got the same coil packs off eBay and have fitted them today, but the battery was flat D'OH! so that's charging and hopefully solves my problem but mine would turn over but not fire up.
i don't know whether or not there is a special way you're suppose to put the plugs in but i replaced mine in the same way as i found them, safest option.

I asked the same question last week as I had mixed the leads up.
If you look from the nearside across the engine you will notice the numbers etched into the cylinder head.
