Both the rearlights have gone on my 2000 1.9JTD Punto.

I'm guessing it's the fuse but I can't find out which number I need to be looking for, and there's a fair few to choose from.

Does any onr know please.

do you mean just the tail lights or all the rear lights? as there are several fuses, if all of them probably an earthing problem

It's just the tail lights, as the brake lights, number plate light and indicators are working.

ther isn't a fuse in the manual for the tail lights
i assume you've checked the bulbs
