just checked my back breaks due to the handbreak not locking the wheels up when driving and there fine any ideas on knowing how to tighten the handbreak cable??

if you've got a mk1, there is an adjuster at the lever, it's a 10mm nut on the end of a threaded bar. you need to partly remove the handbreak surround. easiest way is to use a deep 10mm socket to get benough reach.

if its a mk2 remove rear ashtray, undo the bolts and take out the cover, the adjustment bolt will be right infront of you
