If they do me i'll tell them to talk to Halfords lol, should get there license revoked if there illegal. I doubt there will be a problem. Also looks cool your front plate mate.

I dont know why you are fretting so much about plates. Never had a problem with mine:

That’s gonna be an mot failure and is illegal. Needs to be black checked with DVLA! Off to pick mine up tonight! costing me £8.50 as halfords didnt have any in

its doesnt have to be black,
i work at halfords, al our plates have the halfords logo and the postcode. If it wasnt legal we wouldnt sell them

Point taken ill give u that 1 (y)!!! With that comment the removal of them mite be a gd idea lol!!!!!!

Ok mixed feelings i will take i picture at mite wen the LED's are at the fullest illumination and go well with just the sidelights and the square plate

Take a picture when you want its still gonna look crap and chavvy imo. They are too close together for one and there is no where on the front of a mk2 that lends itself to have them positioned well.

i used to have a square plate, i thought it looked okay.

now i just have a cut down normal size, looks sleeker, like matt's but legal colours coz im a good boy ;)

I'm inclined to agree with you as it stands, but what about if they were grafted-in to the headlight clusters - that would be better? Or perhaps blacked-out as much as possible and put in the rubbing strips?

I know - what about edge-lighting the clear lens of the headlights, so that the lens itself appears to glow around its edges? By edge-lighting I mean having the LEDs mounted so that they shine into the edge of the polycarbonate - the LEDs themselves would be hidden somewhere behind the bumper so it would be truly subtle.

As for the square plate - yeah, can't fathom that one, sorry :) But each to their own and if it makes your Punto stand out from the others, surely that's a good thing.
