Hello,
I bought a Punto 1.1S 1997P and it only came with one RED key. People have suggested cloning BLUE keys at Timpsons etc and being a brave/foolish sort I gave it a shot with the red one.
The new key, whilst Blue in colour, contains a copy of the transponder from the Red key if I understand the cutting chap correctly. It seems to work, but leaves the yellow (code) light on, unlike the original Red key which works without an illumination.
Given the car works even with the light on, am I to expect problems using this new key or doesn't it really matter?
Any thoughts appreciated!
Jason
