I have a 1999 Fiat Punto diesel 1.7. I'm planning to change my fuel filter but have noticed that the filter in my car liiks different from that in the Haynes manual. The filter pictured in the book has a metal housing on top with a bleed screw, whereas the filter in my car has no housing -just three pipe attachments on top.
Can anyone help me? - I want to change the filter correctly without letting air into the system but have no instructions to do this.
