This is probably a repost but atm i dont really care

Got broken into last night for the second time and this time the drivers lock was broken, meaning the only way i can lock both doors is from the inside, and my only way out then is through the boot

I rang my local Fiat dealer and was told as i dont have the red key if i got new locks put on i wouldnt be able to drive as the ECU would need decoding, this came to a total of £212 for new locks and sending the ECU off.

So im now thinking of delocking the car and putting a remote central locking system on it, only trouble is i need it doing today or tomorrow and cant seem to find one.

Maplin dont stock them anymore ( i dont think) and i dont have the time to get one from Ebay

Any suggestions will be welcome

you can fix the locks pretty easily., take one out and bring it to a lock smith and they should be able to do it for you, there very basic in the way they work.,

Either that or lock it and get out the boot.,lol.,

Wel im getting central locking and an alarm fitted nowand the bloke is going to leave the lock on but detatc it from the mechanism, eventually im going to get the locks taken off toobut i cant really afford that atm

i also worked out i dont have to get in and out boot, just open it and lean through to unlock door

Get in, me central locking and alarm is getting fitted tomorrow
