Hi, I have had a look through the forum but I cant seem to find a definitive answer...

I have a 10 plate Punto Evo and an iphone 3GS, I updated the Blue & Me software today to version 5.5 hoping that it would fix the issue of my iphone not charging - but it didn't.
I know that you need the official Blue & Me adapter to play music from your iphone if your car is pre 60 registration but is the adapter also required to charge the phone? If it isn't can anyone suggest what the issue may be?

What does the Blue&Me Adaptor do -
