Re: Fiat Punto Evo 2011, Aux?

Can you remember what cables were already in the plug when you connected it up?

Do you have a USB input?
I notice that the aux terminals have the USB input cables on them, the other end of the connector (where the blue bit is) there are some AF terminals.

I'm looking at a cable on Amazon thats under 7 for this.

Re: Fiat Punto Evo 2011, Aux?

Hi, I have similar issue so I'm jumping on this discussion.
I own a 2011 Punto Evo (without blue&me) and I'm trying to get aux using this method.
So I've purchased the appropriate cable and plugged in into the aux input behind the head unit but when I tap "Media" twice, with no cd in the drive, I get "No source available" on screen
What am I doing wrong?
I have the Delphi head unit, F199, and I think I've done everything just as described above so I can't find the reason that it's not working.
Took some photos in the process so I hope some other member might spot the error: hxxp://db.tt/2Vd2qqsM (can't post links yet since I'm new. Replace hxxp with http).

Hey frost, could you please check what's the HW and SW versions on your head unit? Maybe that's the reason that my head unit can't use the aux in cable.
My HW version is: 28302823 and SW version: 18.

Thanks in advance!

Re: Fiat Punto Evo 2011, Aux?

But that ones about 12 more than the amazon one.

Did you get the amazon one and did it fit in the hole?

Thats all I need as I can then rewire it.

I'm not too keen getting something else from Italy

Re: Fiat Punto Evo 2011, Aux?

Frost is the cable you used connecting into the aux inputs or the other end?

I already have a cable that connects into those pins - I wonder if its from the blue & me unit?
Thats on the Yellow connector - the Blue one is at the other end.

Re: Fiat Punto Evo 2011, Aux?

It has to be the blue one from eBay. It's coming from Italy and it 100% works.

Re: Fiat Punto Evo 2011, Aux?

So it's not going into the aux input then as that is the Yellow one.

The blue connector is for the CD changer at the outside edge of the radio.

Re: Fiat Punto Evo 2011, Aux?

Cheers, my aux input is definitely used by the B&M, all that is left is the CD changer input.

I'm thinking I might want an aux input more than the B&M as I'd like to improve the audio from my Nexu 7 when using it as sat nav.
