My punto spat its dummy out today ( maybe cos of how cold it is ) but still it had a paddy on me started it up this afternoon and it was like sitting on a washin machine on full spin ( not like i do that often, but its the best way to describe it lol ) so i turned it off re-started it drove off.. back to normal then it starts juddering all over the place lost all power Ecu warning light makes an appearance with an orange triangle i've never seen before on a car? and a nice "check engine" message comes up on the display its now booked in for monday cos its still doing it! ... Has this happened to anybody else's? mines the 1.4 multiair Gp and its done about 1400miles ... Gotta say i'm not impressed only had it 2months and when it did finally turn up it arrived with wonky stripes and marked seats ( so there sortin that out on monday too haha ) Apart from that I do love it :D
Cheers,
Mike

could be anything, from bad fuel and blocked filter to a sensor issue picking up incorrect readings varying from temperature and cam position etc.

so yeah they will need to test it.

id play havoc with them especially with the wonky stripes. plus id of purposely broken down and had it towed it and wanting a hire car if its so new,

I know i would of felt like a nob though cos it was fine this morning. but i'm still gonna take it in cos its probably stored a fault code so its probs still worth a look. and i wouldnt get a car off them had this before my car turned up cos it was just over a month late.. so they said they'd give me a different punto or 500 but they said cos i'm 19 they cant get insurance for me. so when it goes in i've got no car and a bus would take about 7days to get to my work :/ lol i know one of the guys at fiat and he said they've had quite a few control valves going wrong on the 16v so could be that doesnt fill me with confidence though cos he said the fiat workshop is absoloutely rammed! and mainly with punto's. Fingers crossed eh!
Mike.

Your jokin? No way they said to me you cant have a car cos your not old enough to be on the insurance! I'll bring it up with em then.. Was you fully comp or anythin at the time cos i wasn't on my old car i was tpft but i'm fully comp on this one so might be able to have one on workin on my insurance? ... Or does that not kick until i'm over 21 lol?
Cheers,
Mike

They didnt ask me anything about my insurance. I simply got given a fiat 500 to use. Just had to sign a bit of paper to say im using the car on such and such date.

No age was asked (and they knew how old I was).

So must be just depend on the dealer.
