hi guys, i've got a 1.4 GP 3 door and i have a couple of quick questions...

1) my driver seat doesn't seem to move forward any more, when i lift the handle and try to push it forward, the side nearest the door seems willing to move, but the side closest to the passenger seat seems stuck (like the mechanism on that side is broke/blocked bu something)... my car has just turned one year old, does this mean its out of warranty for this?

and secondly, my indicator glass is cracked, the indicator is fine and works but there is a big crack across the glass, i've had a look through the manual but can't seem to find anything on replacing the indicator bulb, which would give me a way to hopefully change the glass... does anyone know how?

thanks alot, andy :)

Hi.

I was told when i bought my Evo that the manufacturer warranty was 3 years. I guess for the indicator lens being cracked that someone hit you or you hit something so i dont think that would be covered in warranty, best bet is to try and track down spares from Fiat. Im intrigued about the seat fault. Gonna go for a look at mine just now.

Good luck

try this for your seat...

as for the indicator lamp

think it has to be removed from the back there is a flap in the arch which MIGHT give you just enough access to get to it

(this is the LH one)

thanks very much for your help, and the discount is useful!

by arch, i take it you mean im going to have to jack the car up and remove the wheel to get into it? fiat definately didnt think that one well if thats the case (n)

unfortunatelt in regards to the seat, i have the opposite problem, the back wont bend down... the base however will move freely by pulling the lever under the seat :(

Yes had a closer look at mine and it looks like its a wheel arch liner out job to get at all the fixing screws....

take it you have a can of goo and a pump rather than a spare and jack......

Your car should be covered by a 3 year warrenty (the 2nd year is the same as the first year) get it booked in it :D

sounds like the control cable has come off the handle to me is it slacker to move than the drivers side one?
