I was doing an indepth cleaning of my car over the weekend & found some rust on both the hydraulic struts... the car isn't abused nore has anything damp/wet left in it, interior of the car is as new.

has anyone else noticed it? on the boot (interior) where the 2 bars (1 either side) goes into the hydraulic casing, a ring of rust is forming.

Cars 1 year old, I don't think any visible rust is acceptable?
