Title says it all really. Feel free to use every insult under the sun at me, I definitely deserve it. Was in an emptyish part, didn't have much traction on some rocks so thought it would be easier to carry on going down them to the flat beach and find a way off there. How wrong I was. 3 miles of beach later, passing one of the busiest parts and lots of laughing tourists (helping me out getting slightly stuck every half mile or so), it was a race against the tide coming in. Finally got unmovably stuck with no one in sight around a quarter of a mile from a beach car park I know, so a run to there to get the visitor centre's Land Rover on the move (thankfully minutes before they closed) finally got my car free and back onto safe reliable roads.
So, other than the simple fact I'm an epic tool, what should I check? Initially the chassis bounced over a fair few noisy rocks, then it got thrown over some pretty hill sand dunes. Of course, first thing I did was take it to a jet wash and spend ages blasting it, but could anything have gone amiss underneath and is it worth taking to a garage?
And before anyone asks, no. I didn't take photos.
