I've just replaced the front brake discs on my Mk2 Punto 8V 1.2.
After fitting the new discs and putting the pads back in the callipers, I heard a bit of friction between the pads and the discs when I turned the wheel (before I lowered it to the ground).
I've been out in the car today for 10 mins, tested the brakes, they work fine but the discs were absolutely red hot when I got back.
Is it normal for the pads to rub slightly against the discs when driving?
I reckon this is causing them to get hot while I'm driving.
Cheers for ur help!!
