Hello there,

One of my mates has just purchased a second-hand Punto Selecta 60 with an auto tranny. The car has clocked approx. 81,000 km.

All of a sudden, she has faced difficult engaging gears D -> N -> R -> P. Wherelse there's no problem from P -> R -> N -> D -> L and L -> D.

As we were driving yesterday, the transmission warning light started to blink!! We immediately pulled the car to the side of the road, stopped the engine and started the engine after a couple of minutes. There warning light has not appeared since.

Any thoughts on this? How do we go about rectifying the gear changes?
