im not too sure tbh.. uno has more power but cinq is lighter.. i think its gonna be a very very close match.

Either that or one will be a hell of alot quicker than the other

It's a tough one because I have never actually seen a UT run a 1/4 mile whereas I saw Alex run the 1/4 mile at Donny South last year.

I think seeing as you've gotta fly solo down the strip that it could be a close one. If Alex had a passenger in the car with him then he would win purly on the fact that he pushes it to the limits when he has someone with him because he likes to show Turbo Cinqi off

I think seeing as it's only a 1/4 mile strip the Cinq will have the weight advantage to play with because I have been in it when it has blown away much higher powred cars off the lights but it then loses it's advange once its up around 60/70mph (this is around the time that he really has to push it to keep up with Mark in the JTD)

Im looking forward to seeing this one though, it's definately gunna be video material

Alex watch out on the gear change this time, no grinding 3rd when overtaking joke mate

have to remember too.. the uno has longer gears so less gear change

Im kinda leaning towards the cinq actually. im not sure though.. I know the uno is rapid off the line and will also blow away much higher powered cars off the line etc. but ive got a feeling the cinq will take it.

on a serious note though, from all the videos i have see i dunno where to place her, alex Vs VTR well i know my cars faster than a VTR but dunno if it would keep up with alex? and the JTD looks pretty slow so i really am i little lost, hopfully we can get to the strip and find out marea felt slow today though and needs new brushs as she is pulling quite a bit

Uno turbo// 130 (BHP) / 940 (Kg's) * 1000 = 138 BHP per ton
Cinq turbo// 110 (BHP) / 730 (Kg's) * 1000 = 150 BHP per ton

My money is on Fiat Cinquecento Turbo

Im leaning towards the uno, power to weight aint that much of a difference (albeit in the cinq favour), but the uno has alot more torque. And its torque that matters

Maybe but older technology on the UnoT I thought Alex's CinqT was 118 BHP rather than 110, maybe thats what I remember from the eBay Auction a long time ago

Also as said the Uno has more torque but again it carrys more weight!

How accurate are these weight and bhp figures quoted ?

As it stands if you both have a good launch and dont miss a gear it will be close but the cinq might just win it...

I reckon one or both of you will break down before you reach the end

Not sure what the cinqs running, was quoted at 110 when i bought it (104 from van aaken and then the larger bore exhaust and bigger induction kit)

ran a 16.8 as above and a smashed sunroof causing alot of drag

since then; fixed sunroof, wider front tyres, decat/larger downpipe, 40mm tb oh and it looks 10x nicer under the bonnet, got to be worth something

oh and that fugly scooby vent has gone, sure that caused more drag than helped lol

I'll be happy if she cracks the 15's tbh
