My Partner has the 1.2 and was just wondering if this is around the mark. She is getting just over 300 miles to a full tank, it is two weeks old.

When you say a full tank, you presumably mean less than 35l (unless you push it to the pumps!) so you're probably doing better than 'the urban'
We live in the country and do a mix of trunk routes, country lanes, and alittle urban, and we get spot on the 'combined' figure (65mpg for a diesel).

I personally would be expecting 50mpg on a run but on short runs in town I guess 40mpg would be acceptable.
As the engine gets run in that 300 miles per tank should increase.

On the school run my 1.2 returns 47mpg, extra urban it is 55mpg, and i have nursed it up to 63mpg at a steady 55mph. These figure's are from the trip computer, but if i measure and calculate the mpg properly, the computer reads 3-4 mpg over. I think if i blanked the trip computer the figure's would be a lot less, as i would be less aware of the fuel usage, and would drive in my old style.:) Trip computer's make you tight(y) .

What? We are now on the second Panda - and I don't think we have ever got more than 36mpg.

Are you lot all driving round like Pansies?

puts her pretty much on the mark for fiats figures:

tank capacity : 35litres = 7.69 gallons
urban consumption: 39.8mpg

7.69 x 39.8 = 306miles

Computer is a bit out, i know its average but ours says 44 mpg

Maybe i do drive like a Pansie these day's:) . But in the past i have written off two car's and two motor bike's:) . I just enjoy squeezing as much fuel as i can out of my Panda.(y)
My current motor cycle (250cc) does 38 mpg, and drinks a litre of synthetic 2t oil (£15 a time) every 350 miles, so i just love the Panda, it saves me a mint.

I will clock the milage i get to a tank and let you know.

Dunno - I'm not that daring to take it all the way. So somewhere about 260 miles between full and the light about to come on.
