as most of you know the drivers side window is automatic (press and hold for a second) and it will lower completely
why is the passenger one not the same??
how is it wired differently (can it not be made to do the same?)
it.
which model panda has rear elec's aswell???

You would hope that a driver's side switch from a left hand drive car was the answer but I suspect the good old on board computer gets involved too.

And yes I would like the 'one shot' facility on my nearside window too.

To be honest it doesn't really bother me. I drive 60k a year in a panel van, and i have to take my seatbelt off and climb over to open the nearside window. So any electric window is a bonus for me:) .

LOL.....:D

Has van got manual locking aswell....my pet hate leaning over to push button down:(

Cant see any anti-trap feature on pandas so anyone with a panda want to try this out....use a pencil not your finger:rolleyes:

I assume that as it has no anti-trap then having one-touch would be dangerous for the passenger incase driver closed window(one-touch) & passenger/dog etc stuck its head out window:eek:
Obviously if it had anti-trap this wouldnt matter,so unless the motor measures resistance thus uses rise in current as its anti-trap then perhaps thats why panda pass side does not have one touch.....my theory & i'm sticking to it:p

Bizarre though it sounds, T14086's explanation is at least consistent with the Coupe. That had one-touch up and down on the driver's side, and one-touch down on the passenger side, but not not one-touch up on the passenger side.
No anti-trap on it either.

pug 307 i use at work has exactly the same front window setup as the panda

My 3 Door RAV4 had two auto windows with Anti-trap, demonstrated by the dealer sticking his hand in the window and pushing the up button.

There's faith for you. See previous posts about my Merc closing all the windows and sunroof automatically, then locking the car if you left it unattended for twenty minutes.

Two auto windows would be nice, next time, Mr Panda designer..

I'd trade it for the boot light .... <runs away>

I know the Punto hasn't got anti trap, i was daft enought to try it with my finger once, and once only. My word it nips like a bull terrier:eek: . I cant see the Panda having it either, but i will try with my wifes finger later.:D
