2013 1.3 D Panda.

Trying to identify the rear Brake cylinder, there seem to be loads listed.
Daughters car.

1. I guess it has ABS?
2. Bosch or Pagid?

See attached photo of shoes.

Many thanks

If it's a 2013 car, it will definitely have ABS.

If in doubt, buy both and return the one you don't use.

My BRAIN IS FRIED, I am fairly sure the answer is the same but it is a 2010...Hence the XX10XXX registration!! Sorry to be a thicko, but at least it makes others feel better!

As a quick reference will it be DOT3 or DOT4 fluid?

Thanks for the quick reply

Dot 4 brake fluid.
I know what you mean with the ABS, I have recently replaced the front pads and discs on my 2009 Panda, I ordered the pads with wear indicators, even though the handbook explains the wear indicator on the Dash, they are not fitted on my car, hence there was no pad material left on the driver side! when i removed the old ones!
My 2009 1.1 Eco active has ABS (well it has the sensors on the front hubs anyway!)

Thanks everyone, all the info needed. Parts ordered from Car Parts 4 Less for LESS then EuroCar parts even though the same company.....Happy bunny.

With any brake friction material, it is illegal to sell it if the box is not factory sealed. So firstly, ensure your pads or shoes are sealed. Secondly, pay attention to the picture on the box, and ensure these are correct, BEFORE opening the box, as once opened, they're yours, whether they fit or not.

Great advice, never thought about that.

I took them off yesterday and with magic that is modern technology took a photo of the set up.
98% certain I have ordered the correct parts but whether that's what turns up.......

The diameter of the drum is stamped onto the drums edge. I think for the diesel there all 180mm

Although everyone I have seen has been bosch.

I don't know if the wheel cylinders are interchangeable. I am fairly sure the shoes aren't, different fixings.

I have taken a gamble on bosch before now and not been bitten yet. Maybe Fiat dropped ap lockead and only fitted them on none ABS early cars

Some catalogues only mention Bosch for ABS drums others mention ap lockheed. There's loads of mistakes online. Who knows. But 99% it will turn out to be bosch

well thats for a pre 2012. There a different section for post 2012 cars

If this is a 169 Panda, I'm sure the ABS cars are all Bosch, and the Lockheed was only on non-ABS. As said above, at 2010, this will be an ABS car.

Maybe correct as I said 99% will be bosch

however according to Bremos catalogue

they list 2x types of shoes (bendex and bosch) and 3x different wheel cylinders for ABS diesel 169

as far as I know most parts that aren't made in house have At least two suppliers. Then if there is a problem the can switch without loosing production.

Get them from Shop 4 Parts. Not the very cheapest but you will get OEM quality and they are always there to give advice. Better to phone than use the website.

I have gone with With ABS (100% sure) and ordered from Carparts4Less as considerably cheaper than Euro car parts and the same company, I needed them for the weekend. Arriving today so we will see!
