I'm thinking of changing the standard stereo in my Panda Eleganza to a JVC one. If i do that, what will be the effect on the dash display, which currently shows the radio station, etc?

Will it still display trip computer info on the top line? Or will i end up disabling the whole top line?

yes, it is one of these - plays mp3 CDs too (can't see the MP3 logo on that pic). am going to change it for a single-din with a fascia adaptor. The dash display is like this, and displays radio station info on the top line, as well as trip computer info if you toggle through to it using one of the steering wheel stalks:

thinking if steering wheel has buttons for hands free volume etc they will no longer function,and hands back to dash.,see what the others say in the i c e section also.
