What is the current MOT pass limit in Db for an exhuast note.?

I don't think there actually is a db limit for the MOT.
It just needs to be appropriate in the opinion of the tester.
Remembering that it only runs at idle and fast idle for the MOT.

They don't have any means of measuring exhaust noise anyway.

Thats what I thought too, mine just passed with straight through centre section and no mention of how loud it was

I'm going to get mine tested to see what it reads after a K&N Kit & custom back box fitted.

Mine passed straight away last time - it was down to the tester! I took it to a more favourable garage
