Hi.We have an '05 Panda 'Multijet'.I never need to drive at night these days, but my wife does..She reports that sometimes the dipped headlights go off and on by themselves, and this seems to be worse if L/R indicators are also selected while 'dipped ' are on...We had an 'Auto Electrician' visit, and he said he couldn't find anything, and merely cleaned both supply sockets on the rear of each headlight unit.{I've repeated this since)Has anyone else experienced this?I'm far more experienced with older, simpler vehicle wiring...ie,on venerable 'Cortina' Mk IIs,and similar where earths, connectors, etc were there to see, inspect and overhaul. (y)..Easy!!Has the 'P' got a relay to conrol dipped?...or accessible earths that cover lights?I thought I'd found a relay(T14)and removed it whilst lights were on:they just stayed on!I'd like to avoid a new/good used switch,as neither would be at a bargain price.Sooo:Any suggestions? Of course, these would be gratefully received, with my thanks in advance for your time and effort(s). Mike Haworth,Manchester.

I have exactly the same problem and mine is a driving school car, same year, obviously quite dangerous when it looks like my pupils are flashing people out of junctions, from behind parked cars etc! Any idea how much it is to fix?

Happened on my wifes 09 Panda once when i drove it headlights flashed when indicating, and went of for a moment on another ocassion.

This only happened on one day almost 3years ago. ok since.

Hmmm, mine has started happening quite regularly. Just for a laugh I've called the Fiat dealership to find out how much they would charge, and how much the part is, but I think I'll take it to my trusty mechanic along the road and see if he can figure it out.
