Hi

My drivwers electric window kept making a funny noise when you opened it now the electric isnt working and the only way i can keep the window closed is by holding it up with an ice scraper.

Any ideas how easy it is to fix the windows?

Not actaully done this on my Panda, but in both my previous cars the window was raised and lowered by a steel wire that loops around a spindle on the motor, over a series of plastic pulleys and into a clip on the bottom of the glass, with all these parts mounted to a metal frame inside the door. Sounds like one of these parts has broken - probably a small pulley. The only realistic repair is to remove the whole mechanism and replace with new - the wire is tensioned when new and pretty well impossible to refit to the system if it comes off.

This will not be a cheap part at a dealer, but a good breakers yard will have the bits. To access involves removing the plastic inner door trims.
