hi everyone,

have received my new panda today (well actually, its used, but you get my drift :) ), i'm am loving it so far. brilliant car.

i didn't get a manual with it though. i have seen there's a PDF linked to from this forum but i can't see any details in there of the third stalk (not the indicator one, nor the washer one... the other one). what's that for?

apologies if this has been asked before, i tried a search but couldn't find anything. feel free to link me to a thread if the questions already been answered!

Almost certainly cruise control.

Shocked at the price of that, though - I don't know if Pandas have the wiring in place, but Alfas usually do, meaning you can add the stalk for about 60 quid - it's plug and play.

Yeah, price is discusting!

I believe that it'd be possible on the 100hp as it has been on my 1.4 16v Stilo which had an enabled ECU to plug and play it (dealer says its factory only though, but mine fully functions :D).

Only cost me £35 for stalk from scrappy, with aload of other stuff also :)

i've just been out to have a play with my third stalk...

it works very well as a cruise control, although despite that i definitely wouldn't pay £hundreds as written on that webpage linked earlier in this thread to have one, but if its possible to do it for £35 like MEP says above then i recommend it

its an 07 plate 1.2 Eleganza with the Dualogic auto gearbox. the reason i was so confused about the stalk was that i only got the car on friday, so unfortunately as the CC came already fitted i wont be able to help with technical details about installation or fitting problems, or whether the car needed any further modification to make the CC work etc

Under the bonnet, on the N/S there is a fuse box, near the battery, could you take the lid off and possibly take a pic please, or see if there is any extra added wiring?

i filled up the washer fluid earlier on and had a look at getting into this box. i figured out how to undo the catch but the lid didn't seem to want to come off, i didn't want to yank it either though... hope you don't mind that i wasn't able to get into it for you

if there are any hints about extra wiring in the manual for the CC (well, leaflet) i'll put them on here for you
