Hello, Can any one guide me where i can buy a (ESP, ASR, MSR, HILLHOLDER) Kit for my 2006 panda dynamic-Its not available in my country, Thanks in advance.

Yes, but I think if it can save lives when needed it’s worth it
As I looked it up it’s around 420 Pound installed
But I need the kit only without installation

I would think that this kind of option is installed at the factory so doubt you could retrofit it. Not sure how traction control or a hill holder would save lives in all honesty. ESP is debatable, but in such a low powered car with a very 'safe' handling setup you'd need to be pretty hamfisted in order to require it really.

Just drive within you ability, simple really. (y)

It's possible to retrofit it but it would be VERY expensive. Most likely you would need a body computer and a lot of other stuff.

It would probably be as cheap to sell your Panda and order a new one with all the bits you want...

I wouldn't say that many people have opted for hillholder, etc. as an option. I don't think it's worth the money. I can use my clutch for that. Lol.

And yes I'd say you'd be looking at a new computer to run the extra kit too...

On any modern car, as long as you have ABS stuff like hillholding is relatively trivial, possibly ESP etc. as well.

Mine has all of them and while the hillholder is pretty convenient, the good old handbrake trick is almost as easy and equally fast once you get some practice at it.

As for the others, you've got ABS which is definitely the most important bit and the one you'll trigger the most by far. A stray patch of wet leaves hidden in shadow at a stop? ABS will shorten your braking distance in these cases where you're caught by surprise, but if you're driving normally, 99,9% of the time you won't even be close to the limits of braking.

ABS has saved my ass once and made me aware of black ice etc. at other times. There's a reason why it's standard on all road cars today.

As for the others, I can count the times they've been engaged in my car on one hand. That's one hand for all of them combined.

ESP? As TDQ said, the Panda is a very safe handler, you'll know what's happening long before anything serious is going on and be able to slow down easily. It has never triggered on my car, even with relatively spirited driving on the skinny standard tyres.

ASR/MSR? This one can be useful, I've triggered it a few times in surprise icy conditions when trying to accelerate away from a full stop while being a bit hamfisted with the clutch, it really does help a bit in those situations. Then again, there's a reason why the "ASR Off" button is displayed prominently in the middle of the dashboard, sometimes it does more harm than good. Back when I was driving an old Corolla on bald summer tires in the winter (which you should NEVER do!) I still managed to set off from a patch of icy road by feathering the clutch a bit. In short, you probably won't ever need it unless your tyres suck.

Hillholder? As I mentioned above, it's a nice convenience, but absolutely not something I'd pay extra to have.

Unless you regularly break the rear loose or spin the front wheels from acceleration (a bit hard in a Panda), save the money and don't worry about it :)

Thank you all for replying, I consider my self a good driver I know how to handle a car but for a clutch I don't have one it's dual-logic gear, the thing is where I live its full of up's and down's especially I don't know if any one experienced a traffic stop on up-hill so you had to have many stop's and go I use my hand brake as well and having no problems but being on alert tell I pass it especially if there much traffic that’s what I don't want, and imagine that situation with ice and snow.
I love my panda and it has 12000 km now only I don’t want to sell it or exchange it for any even a Rolls Royce I have it since it has 0 km (she is my baby).
