Am I missing something or is the filler for the washer bottle in a totally stupid place? How are you meant to fill it up without using a funnel?

No problems on the 100hp filling it up.

Guess it must be other models that have the problem.

Change the bottle to a 100hp one maybe?

They're no different, whether you have a problem depends on what you're trying to fill it from.

Most cars need a funnel nowadays because they cram so much under the bonnet and then try to keep the bonnet as low as poss for crash test / aerodynamic reasons.

Yes they are the one on the 100hp is at the top of the engine bay the oneon a normal panda is half way down the engine bay.

It seems that the washer bottle varies between models, and is also different if air con is fitted!. 1.2 engine and no air con, and the washer bottle 'spout' is at an impossible angle and needs a funnel and some very careful pouring to fill it (like it is on my 1.2 4x4). Also, the expansion bottle for the coolant is mounted at the side of the radiator. With air con and 1.2 engine, the expansion tank for the coolant is mounted higher up in the car (in the same place as in Geminifm's photos), and then they put a washer bottle with a straight-necked filler. The 1.4 engines have the high-mounted coolant tank and straight washer fillers, and I think on the Multijet diesel its in yet another place, as the oil filler is more or less where Geminifm's washer filler is!
