I've had an airbag warning and fuel cutoff light on my 2013 Panda 4x4 for a while. 2 garages and £150 later it was diagnosed as a control unit issue. My husband replaced the unit (as local Fiat garage wanted £550 and seemed totally flummoxed with the problem). Fuel cut off light is now off but airbag light is still on. Does anyone have any experience with this issue? Could this be a different fault with the airbag itself, or sensor or simple (but probably still expensive!) issue of a reset? MOT due next month!

This has been an issue since the 2004 model, there's a cheap plastic connector under the seat that carries the wiring for the airbag, seat sensor, seatbelt sensor. It gets wobbly and loose, and some electrical tape usually patches it right up.

Where are youbased..?

Getting the error code read..and then cleared is the next logical step.
