It will be interesting to hear if you achieve any movement on price. I spec'd one up to get as close as I could to my yellow Cross, and ended up just short of £14k - and still with those poverty-spec steel wheels (the configurator doesn't allow you to choose alloys - surely Fiat are missing a trick there?).
With a £2k Fiat deposit contribution on the 4x4 and Cross at the moment, and 0% finance over 3 years (via the Privilege scheme - available to anyone who stumps up a few quid to join the IAM), the Waze 4x4 isn't quite as much of a steal as it might at first appear. It only looks that way because the RRP of the Waze is high. But I agree that with some packs/options thrown in, and a decent finance offer, the Waze deal could stack up very nicely indeed.
(I see that, in the small print, Fiat say that the Waze 4x4 deal can't be combined with any other offer, so presumably no Fiat deposit contribution or 0% finance? If that deal can be combined with Privilege, even I'd be all over it - and I'm a notoriously tight bastard.)
Hi there,
What is the IAM? i don't think I've heard of it, if you could expand, that would be great.
I"m not a fan of alloy wheels, too easy to scuff and costly to repair. I always try and spec down to steel wheels and wheel trims if I can, but it's getting harder to do that these days. Nearly everything comes with alloy wheels, unfortunately.
Yeah, I'm not expecting to get any more of a price reduction and again when I sepecced mine up in came to nearly £14,000 so I am hoping to get some options or packs thrown in. I've been buying new or nealry new Fiats retail from my my local dealer for the last 10 years and having servicing done for longer. They have looked after me well in the past and I'm keen to see if they'll do it again on the Waze.
Panda.
