I am still deliberating which panda to go for when the lease is up on my skoda yeti...... lounge TA or 1.2 first question, 4x4 TA or 1.2 or city cross no choice for engine there... nobody seems have gone down that choice and also can you still get the sliding rear seat? is it in the 50/50 option as this would be more useful than the 60/40 for me.

hmm i know what you mean, i probably don't need the 4x4 but like the idea of it and also tuscany green but other than that the lounge would be more than suitable especially with all weather tyres in the winter:idea:

I'm swopping my 4x4 in for a City Cross. In fact it is due to be delivered to my home on Monday when I will wave goodbye to my 3yr old TA. I no longer need a 4x4 but the increased ride height of the 4x4, Cross and City Cross is the decider for me. I will miss the TA engine but the 1200 is said to be a very strong, well tried one and I am used to driving the old panda model with the same engine in Spain.

My new one is white - no extra charge and I think a white car looks bigger on the road. And strange as it may sound, in my experience, dark metallic colours show up road muck and rain spots very quickly.

how exciting bet you can't wait, did you go for the style pack? i really like the look of the city cross but was unsure about the engine.. ive seen a couple of them in my local area and look the part.:D:D
are you going to post some photos on the forum

Yes. Style pack. Tinted rears and heated seats. Less than 11 grand and it looks like a real cross. LOL.

I'll post pictures next week.

TA LOUNGE all the way..make sure it has the blue and me function on the steering wheel.

Not that I have any reason or money to replace my brilliant 1.2 lounge but if I did it would be a city cross no argument.
Going from a low slung car (Rover 75) to the Panda has been a revelation but my wife is now beginning to even struggle with my Panda so the taller ride height of the cross would be handy plus it looks just a bit more mean!!!
Legendary FIRE engine reliability though would seal the deal if I had the dosh!!!

When the grandkids laugh at my Fiat badge (BMW and Mazda), I tell them that sitting on the floor driving a car no longer appeals to me. And anyway if I just buy a Fiat it gets to where I'm going in the same time as their expensive to run vehicles and means that their inheritance is bigger.

Michelin Winter Tyres for a Lounge would be out of your pocket and very expensive. Michelin replacements on a TA 4x4 are actually less and someone else would be paying (assuming you need replacements for the standard Continental inside the 3 years you'd own it). Tyre supply problem would gain you a temporary lease car (not your fault). As you can't mix summer, all season and winter tyres, issues replacing tyres on a Panda Lounge that weren't standard fit, you could find yourself carless. And if the original Goodyears not put back on, you could be looking at a fine. This is me being miserable but it's your livliehood. TA 4x4 in green with winter pack and DAB radio if I was you. 60/40 only split rear seat now (sliding rear obselete).

Hi. Panda 4x4 isn't just a matter of needed an AWD or not. They are just build differently. They're like small tanks. i own a 1988, a 2005 and a 2015 all 4x4 beside a 2002 hobby. The only hink i really miss is the absence of the fire engine on the new panda 4x4 line up. My last one is a Mjet, and, it may be the perfect engine for a 4x4, but driving a FIRE 1000(1988), 110 (2202) and 1200(2205) has no equal. My 1988 now used for hard field work has a disintegrated body, but the FIRE has been running on LPG for 14 years in a row, with NO FUEL whatsoever and no oil change or water for over 150000 km. My kids( big kids) are planning to make a monument once will be dismissed. But they are build strong. My 2005 has a skid plate that weight 12KG, bullet proof. My Sysley 1989 was sold last year with 327000 km after a small accident for 900 euros. Panda forever, even when i see disgusted faces of some drivers looking at me inside my run-down panda, but i guess i will not go always farther than they will, but i will go where they sure can't.
