After I picked up some nice O.Z. 35th Anniversary wheels(16x7j et37) last weekend I finaly got to put them on this afternoon after some well needed cleaning and receiving the correct pcd variance bolts from SCC in Germany.
I realy love the way it looks and how they sit under the car but please don't hesitate to tell me what you think of it.
Next week it will be lowered with Novitec springs witch are on the way from Germany.

Very cool looking car. (y)
35mm Novitec springs will finish it nicely. :D

If you're after feedback then...

1) Excellent cleaning job!

2) The red goes well with the black with the red rear light clusters.

3) The low profile tyres make the wheels look a bit small but that'll probably change if you're lowering it.

... but this is the main one ...

4) Your bird box is wonky!!!

:)

Take it easy,
M

1)Thanks!
2) I also think the rear light realy ties in the look.
3)The lowering will defenitly make the wheels look better. I think 16inch is the perfect size for the Panda's shape of the fender
4)I will look into the bird box situation, nothing worse then a wonky box;)

I would even dial out the red rear light, to accentuate the red wheels. ;)

That might also look very nice but I rather like the look of the standard rear lights.
I would realy like some aftermarket daylight running lights whith multiple leds but up till now I've never seen anything like that.
Maybe if I'm lucky they will come in a Facelifted Panda in the future.

Today was the day, right. :D

You've got that right! :)
Today the Panda was lowered with the Novitec springs and I'm realy pleased with the drop and the way she handles.
Ride is firm but comfy and the turn in and steering feels mutch quicker and mutch more direct. Also the grip is greatly improved after fitting the new wheels and springs compared to the oem Good Year Perfect grips.
The look and stance is also mutch more to my liking all though I guess I will have to reconsidder the way I attack speedbumps from now on ;).
The front has dropped about 40mm and the rear about 20mm all though I guess it will be even a little bit lower after the new springs have settled in.

Pic 1: new stance
Pic 2: old rear ride height
Pic 3: old front ride heigt (was higher then the rear)
Pic 4: new rear ride height
Pic 5: new front ride height

Looking at those photos, while there is a large drop, originally you could drive a large truck between the tyre and the body whereas now you'd only get away with one of them Alpha Romeo thingies.

It looks good. I reckon you'd have to be familiar with Pandas to know it'd been lowered at all. Good to hear about the handling improvements, while it's fun to drive around her 'issues' it'd be good to get some of them sorted, especially with that enthusiastic TA motor.

You're absolutely right, the original wheel gaps are enormous and the twin air turbo motor certainly deserves sportier suspension and tires that can handle the low down torque.
All though the Panda was always a fun ride I never cared much for the heavy leaning when pushed hard in corners.
