I've bought a Spanish-plated 2013 Panda 4x4 to keep in Spain. It's fitted with Continental Cross Contact 175/65 R15 and one of the tyres is damaged on the sidewall. The car's not done that many km and the sensible thing seemed to be to replace just the one tyre (can't use the spare as it's a space saver).

We're out in the boondocks in Spain and the local tyre place couldn't source a replacement so I thought, no problem, I'll just get one in the UK and take it out with me. And then I find there's

- ContiCrossContact UHP
- ContiCrossContact LX
- ContiCrossContact AT
- ContiCrossContact Winter

Unfortunately I don't have a photo of the tread pattern to compare. Does anyone know which of the Conti tyres is an OEM fitment on the Panda 4x4?

My 4x4 came new from the showroom in January with the CrossContact Winters fitted. Hopefully photo is attached...
Good luck,

Hmm, I remember the Spanish tyre fitter asking why I would want winter tyres (it early July and about 40ºC at the time), but I live in a cave at the bottom of a track at about 1000m which gets snow in the winter time, so I think I will live with the lower milage expected.

Livin' the dream! Can't beat the casas cuevas for that impossibly romantic back-to-nature feeling (although I bet life there has its moments in the depths of winter!)
