Was that the one at Desiras in Norfolk?

We ordered through Arnold Clarke dealership.... They are bringing it from one of their 'mates' lol.

We ordered 0.9 twin air, that I looked at at Desirasis Diesel

They had a diesel demonstrator (still for sale) and an unregistered TA (which I had my eye on) but they sold the TA while I was on holiday

Not bothering tbh, life's too short! There'll be another deal around the corner.

Re: Panda 4x4 Antarctica ordered - anyone else thinking of taking the plunge?

Just had a good laugh reading through this thread from the beginning
I joined the 2103 4x4 party with MJ in white a couple of weeks ago, pretty much bog standard spec (bought 9 months old) and very pleased. You're all right: the plastic steering wheel isn't great. but, we have or have had leather steering wheels on our 'main' car for some years, and I can say that stuff like sun cream or hand cream seems to cause the leather to break down over time, or maybe its from diesel residue?

I too was curious about the penguin-feeding 'teats' on the front - I wonder: are they where the outside temperature is measured from? (My Multipla some years back had a similar but smaller 'nipple' on the door mirror, which was for the outside temp sensor)

Aussie protectionism? They might lighten up now that the car manufacturing in Oz is going belly up.

The teats are on the normal 4x4 so no penguin connections I don't think - Panda tits? The temp sensor on the previous model was on the underside of the nearside mirror so I suspect it's the same.

Saw an Antarctica in Modbury, South Devon the other day - first one I've seen in the flesh. I loved it and so did the kids, they loved the picture of the penguin on the side!

Looking on Auto Trader the other day, there's only a handful for sale at the moment, but most of them HAVEN'T GOT THE PENGUINS!!! To say I am mildly disgusted is an understatement...

My Antarctica's penguins got evicted before I collected it from the dealers.

Excellent!

Glad to see the penguins can be retrofitted. Not that I am buying one any time soon, but if I was then I would 100% be having them on the side

Each to their own of course

I see your Panda Penguin Stickers and raise you a matching trailer, Super Uwe!
We love the stickers - many don't get it, but we've had so many people make positive comments. My boys, 5yrs and 2yrs, LOVE them!!!

A couple of pics of our Antarctica outfit:
