We've had our new 63 plate 1.2 Lounge for a week now, and so far have travelled a fairly low 100miles.
It is white with the red/charcoal interior, and red dashboard, which livens it up quite nicely. 5 seats, but apart from that it's standard lounge spec. Would've liked to get one with blue&me, as we've had it in our last few Fiats, but there were non available in the country as new stock, and me and the missus are too impatient to place a factory order and wait for 8 weeks or so. So I'll probably be fitting an io play2 Bluetooth kit soon (unless anyone has any better recommendations?)
Fuel economy so far seems much better than our old 500 1.2 Lounge, and that had start/stop fitted too! Maybe I'm just getting lighter on the pedals in my old age (32!).
I quite fancy getting some red mirror covers and red roofbars to go with the red interior... Does anyone have a pic of a white panda with the red accessories?

Hi milesperhour,

Congratulations on your new purchase - we also used to have a 500 1.2 Pop before buying our Panda 1.2 Easy last year. Are you missing the 500 yet?:D

As for the red mirror covers/roofbars, I can't provide any pics but I did post a thread recently about one that I saw near to where I live:

All I can say is that it looks really, really smart on the white Panda. Well worth going for IMO, makes it look quite sporty actually!(y)

I think I might give it a go with the red... see what it looks like. I think the red roofbars too will help it to look more deliberate, rather than just random red wing mirrors (no offence intended Pretender!) ;)

I really like the panda. The 500 was always a bit too much of a compromise - we've got 2 boys (6 and 2), and it wasn't that easy to fit everyone in the 500.

We've got a Renault Grand Scenic as well, so the Panda is more of a standby 4 seater, rather than being the main family car, but I will be driving it to work every day, and my wife will use it to go to college from time to time.

I gave the panda it's first wash today - apparently we have an albatross flying near our house, if the splat on the car was anything to go by. Just a quick sponge bath, little bit of polish, and gave the alloys a wipe clean. I'm tempted to get some snow tyres on steelies to stop the alloys getting ruined over winter.

Ordered a short aerial, and I'm toying with the squircle stickers..........

Ok, so the mods have started... Fitted some red mirror covers today. I'm also expecting a short aerial in the post when I get home. I've also got some genuine fiat carpet mats.
I'm not 100% sure on the red mirrors... So I'm keeping hold of the white covers for now until I've decided whether or not to revert to standard. What do you think?

Red!! :)

Just been looking online, and I've found that you can get LED DRL replacement units for the front bumper - looks like a genuine Fiat part http://fiat-panda.sgpetch.co.uk/pages/parts/detail/engine=663/category=electrical/part=13644 (as shown here at SG Petch), but have also seen them on ebay (to import from Latvia), for about £50 for the pair, including delivery. Has anyone got these fitted to their Panda? Were they ever an option on any of the UK models?

Very nice, just the start of many mods eh!

Love the interior as well; if I am honest I bloody hate the sand/beige one we have in our car. It looks appalling after nearly 18 months of ownership:D

Yep, I think the charcoal/red interior looks great, especially with the red dash. With two boys, I really didn't fancy trying to keep a light-coloured interior looking clean. It would be easier having two terriers!

I don't want to modify it loads (been there, done that, years ago). But there are a couple of things which I think may personalise it a bit. The red roof bars are next on my list, but I'm waiting for a set to come up on ebay at a decent price. I'm certainly not paying £150+ for them, unless someone with a Pop fancies buying a set of black roofbars and white mirror covers off me? :D

I got these as a direct fit replacement, better and whiter than the original. No need for the lenses, just take the old bulbs out and the new bulbs just slot is, thanks to Milns84 on here.
