...to go to America (and not be a total embarrassment)

Took the Alloys off the 750 (the swap suits both cars I think.. The 750 looked a bit too 'chunky' with them on) and fitted the new wiper motor, set the timing and set the roof rails on (Uncle Stu will have to drill the roof for them during the week)

Rather proud of the new look.:D

Jim where can I get a set of roof rails :( I WANT A SET OF ROOF RAILS

I got them off a later car (my 95 with the missing engine)

They came as standard on the more up market later cars...

There on the Eper as an accessory but I'm sure Fiat ask the earth for them:(

Now Christoper, people in glass houses.....

He parked that thing outside my house yesterday! My poor neighbours... :)

yes, I can imagine the curtains twitching followed by some cursing of the NI Italian Motor Club going on...!

Love them wheels, Jim - I keep thinking about a set, I think they would look nice on a black car.

After discovering Sei Abarth alloys are 14" I only have 3 options for alloys, Cinq Sporting, Sei Sporting or Uno Turbo. There are other options but I want to keep a narrow range under scrutiny to keep the cost down. I'm thinking Seicento Sporting alloys because they look pretty good and will be newer, too. :)

Also Alex B's Panda looks superb with them on.

But Sylvia is looking in good shape now. :) The alloys suit her better than the 750. Are you going to put the AX spoiler on Sylvia?

I had to have the spacers on the front, and the correct size wheel nuts, and i had to take off the front mudflaps, but apart from that i didnt need any mods, and there was no rubbing.

edit - oh, and you can hear the road more :(

Can you remember what size the spacers were? I really like these wheels y'see and would love some on mine.

Sorry i cant remember the size of the spacers (looked about an inch), but they are original sei parts so try asking the sei owners. Personally i would leave them, as the noise was terrible (especially on the motorway).

just noticed this thread, sei alloys do look ace on the panda(y) make it handle better too keep an eye on ebay/classifieds i got mine off here for £100 with nuts and tyres just bolted them straight on, no spacers. arbarth are 14 inch iirc;)

you just put those on? they do look really good, the sei alloys are smooth and compliment the strong lines of the panda whereas the cinq alloys really add to the retro look (y) :slayer: lol
