Newbie Sisley Owner

Hi all, I recently acquired a 1990 Sisley, and from looking at the history that came with the car seems to be well known on this forum.

I'm extremely excited to be using her in the French Alps for the winter ski season.

She has just passed the MOT with no advisories after some new bits : front shocks, fuel tank, fuel sender, master cylinder, front brake calipers, discs, pads and stainless lines.

This forum has been fantastic resource in getting her back on the road, thank you!

I'm still trying to figure out a knocking on the back over rough roads, which I'll be tackling shortly. I'm pretty confident it's the rear passenger side shock. And I am trying to track down a rear bull bar.....Snow Tires arrive next week. I have gone for Maxi Cervinia's.

I'll post some actions shots, over the next few weeks, and throughout winter.

That looks clean man well done.

I have similar issue... It might as well bp the tampons (dampers maybe in english) on the back. And/or look if the steel brackets that hold the leafsprings together are still there. Im also about to replace both of my rear shocks (i will go with kayaba) the next days and will keep you updated how it works out with.

offtopic: Im looking around to buy another panda where would be good place to search in UK... apart of ebay and gumtree?

Looks fantastic and really clean, keep it that way and enjoy it! Rear shocks are fairly cheap and easy to do so always worth renewing if you've got a knock, check the hangers for the leafs while you're there

Thanks for the guidance. New rear shocks ordered, hopefully solves it.

I'm now on the hunt for a set of Maxi Cervinia tyres, finding them difficult to find, even in Italy.

Took her for a ride up to Val Thoren yesterday.

A few of us in the UK use Mario Ziarelli shipped directly from Italy. I've personally had the Extreme Forests on my Mk2 Sisley and now have Mud Powers on my Mk3 Cross.
