My Panda has encountered a problem with the carb.
When the car was running sweet it was fine, but even then if the engine did not start on the first little turn of the key, the second time you try, it would not idle and you would have to pull the choke out to keep it running. It would then rev higher, but once it had sorted its self out you would hear the revs rise considerably, then you could push the choke back in and it would idle.

Basically, it happened to me a few days ago, but the choke is still out and it still hasn't wanted to idle.

Ive thought of fuel flooding the carb but it would clear after a while, not keep on running on choke, its costing me a fortune to get about in it now because im using twice the fuel!

Has anyone had this problem before?

HELP MEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

Any help would be great and muchly appreciated!

Thanks Gary

Anyone? I had some muppet adjust the mixture which when warm worked fine, but now when its cold its a right pain! Overfuelling like mad! Please help!

Did this muppet tune the car on a Co machine or just by feel? If by feel he has probably at one point screwed the mixture screw in too tight and flattened the end. I would also look at the advance diaphram on the side of the distributor and see if it's still intact.

Thanks Alan, ill have a look at the mixture screw and advance diaphram, then get it set up on a CO machine. Thanks for your help!
