Hi my palio weekender injector light keeps on flashing and it over feuling bad when I stand outside the car u can smell the petrol and its also heavy on feul what can b e the problem thanks

Hi I got 3 codes on ecu read 1. p0120 throttle potentiometer 2.water temp sensor 3.air temperature sensor ok now how mutch will al this cost to fix and where are these sensor located thanks

Thanks can it be that these sensors are faulty that's whey the injector light stays on on uses a lot of feul ?

I doubt that all three are faulty at the same time.
But yes, the ECU needs input from all of them, otherwise it goes into "limp home" mode, resulting in using much more fuel
Don't drive it long under these conditions, or you will ruin the catalist....

Ok thank u where do u segest I start lookÍng the injector light stays on now :( and do u have a email address or bbm pin

the injector light - is probably a signal from the Lambda probe in the exhaust sensing unburnt fuel..
this is just an indication to the ECU,
NOT the actual cause,

reading those codes will HELP diagnose the issue,

hence the suggestion of TEMP sensors = as if one TEMP signal is wrong to the ECU it can assume it's -30'C outside and pumps in LOTS more fuel to compensate.. hence the over fuelling,
I hope that makes sense..,

you can sometimes unplug the lead to one of the sensors to see if it runs cleaner,
as the ECU will default to a factory "preset" of a nominal figure,( on losing the signal from the sensor),

I hope that helps,
Charlie

When I drive it the smoke that comes out of the exh is pitch black smoke and u can smell the petrol stongly

I also see now on the car the people I got the car from connected the fan so it runs asoon as n switch the ignition on

Ok I phone the guy whose car it whas he says the fan made like that since he bought the car if I switch on the ignition the fan comes on straith what can be the problem ? I also swoped the complete throttle body with a other one and replace the lamda sensor and the one at the back of the inlet manifold and fitted a new coil pack still no change still the injector light stays on and its over feuling any suggestions ?

I took the car to a guy specializing in fiat he said to me that the cam timing is out that's why the sensors mess around can it be? But the car starts normal and sometimes pulls normal are this guy taking chance or not

actual cam-timing will be fixed - however there could be a faulty sensor giving incorrect readings of cam / crank positions,
