Been looking at buying a Honda Civic as my next daily runner car and have seen a few 1.4 I-vtech Type S.

One in particular was with the automated gear box (I-shift) and I was wondering if anyone had used these boxes and their thoughts? I once had a Mitsubishi FTO that had a similar gear box and loved it.

Taking one for a test drive tomorrow but a short test drive never allows you to full test things and wondered if anyone can give a more in depth review. Reviews are mixed but most who criticise it seem to expect a full auto type box when it is indeed only a semi-auto box. Those who seem to know what to expect from such a box seem to agree that it is a good set up.
