My 2003 JTD Multipla has just today developed a starting problem. After the engine has been on a run and switched off for about half an hour it is reluctant to start first time. It took about four attempts and did it again when I went shopping and came back to the car after about 45min. I then filled up with fuel and it started ok. When it runs it is perfect. Someone on the forum has suggested the crank shaft sensor could be the problem. Any suggestions?

I have already done a search but was just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience.

A quick update - I drove almost 300 miles this weekend and had no starting or running issues at all.
