just purchased 51 petrol multipla , when activating the central locking from the key fob it activates the alarm , but when deactivating the central locking it unlocks the car but does not switch off the alarm . The alarm is a built in fiat alarm and to deactivate it i have to disconnect and reconnect the battery 5 times to reset the system . Can anyone help ITS DRIVING ME MAD !!!!!!!

For now you could try just locking the car with the key and hope someone comes up with a solution so you can use your alarm again

cheers Phil , i am using this method at present but ive had the car only 2 weeks , broke down 4 times , radiator broke, driveshaft broke, aircon broke yesterday , rear sunroof just stoped working, thrustbearing started screaming like a slaughterd pig , need to cut my loses and sell this lemon before something maojor blows (could be the car ,could be me) so im just trying to put the cars faults in some kind of order to sell. regards Paul
