Hi,

I hope someone can help me with following problem.
Our camper with & 2.8 JT. D engine stop running when the engie becomes warm (+/_ 15km).
No immediately restart possible. We have to wait a few minutes and then it runs again for sometimes 5 somitimes 10 minutes.
This is very dangerous (we had this problem in the tunnels of Lyon last year..)
There is sometimes a warning light on, red engine pictogram, but not always.
We replaced on suggestion of the garage 4 sensors (crankshaft, camshaft, fuel pump sensors, ..) but with no result. (these sensors were also displays on the troubleshooting computer of the garage).


If I'm driving the camper now, I reset by turning the keys to the off position while driving, every 2 minutes and the engine keeps running.

Does anyone can give me an idea what this could be?

Well the Garage for a change had the right idea here. Like a sensors circuits going haywire inside when it heats up. Was going to say Crank sensor but...The other answer could be air input mass sensor.

Have you got any fault codes?
